Hey dudes and dudettes. Just a few quick news items to share with ya...
1. We have a new drummer! Please welcome Aaron "Tron" Mykyta to The Invisible Hand, and be sure to come and see him make his debut with the band on January 20 at Vern's!
2. The secret song from our album "Crawling Up The Wall" has been secret for long enough, and now it can be YOURS! You can hear "Definitely, Eventually, Really, Probably" by clicking on the player to your right, or you can download it for FREE, by clicking here.
3. Our new 3-song EP (no title yet) is sounding rad. We have finished recording the drums, bass and guitar, and will be wrapping up the vocals this month. Stay tuned for more on that.
December 3 / 2011:
Happy Holidays, Hand-fans. For those not in the know, our longtime drummer Mikey Friio has played his last show with the band before he leaves to travel the world for a while. So we had a killer dance party at The Unicorn last Saturday to see him off, and now we're looking at replacements... so stay tuned for the announcement of our new drummer, and come see the debut of a new lineup on Jan 20 at Vern's.
October 21 / 2011:
Recording has begun. Three songs done on drums in the first session, and the upgrades at Sparkletoes Studios sound PIMP. The three songs on the new EP are called "Worst-Case Scenario," "Slow Cooker," and "Drought City." In a perfect world, we'll have it out by the holidays, but we are setting no grand deadlines for this project- our only goal is to make sure the sessions are quick and have a somewhat "live" energy to them.
Stay tuned to our facebook feed (and now our Twitter feed as well) for more on the recording process.
